How do you get started with Crossell?

You create your account, connect your first store and see where your data lands in the first hour.

← All guides

Before you start

  • You need an email address (or a Google account) and the API details of the store you want to connect. For Trendyol, the Connect Trendyol guide shows where they are.
  • No card is needed to create the account. You choose a plan when you are ready to run operations; until then the dashboard, orders, products and finance pages stay closed, and opening them sends you to the plan choice in Settings. Settings and the setup pages work without a plan. For details see Plans and billing.
  • You do not create a business separately: your business is opened automatically when you sign up.

Steps

Create the account

  1. On the sign-up page enter Email and Password. The password needs at least 12 characters, one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one number and one special character. If Google is available you can use Continue with Google instead.
  2. If the business declaration and KVKK Privacy Notice boxes are shown, tick both.
  3. Press Create account. A verification link arrives by email; click it. If it does not arrive, use Resend verification email.
  4. On the sign-in page enter your email and password. After sign-in you may land on a setup page, on Today or on Settings; the way forward is the same.

Connect your first store

  1. In Settings open the Integrations card. With no store yet it says "No shops connected yet".
  2. Open Add a marketplace, press Connect next to your marketplace and enter your details.
  3. Follow the guide for your marketplace: Trendyol, N11, Pazarama, Çiçeksepeti and PttAVM, Shopify, WooCommerce, TikTok Shop, eBay and Faire.

The Getting started page and profile

The Getting started page (Setup checklist in the menu) shows five steps: Welcome, Connect a channel, Import or add a product, Run a sync, Optimize pricing. On the same page you can fill in the Tell us about your operation form and press Save profile, or choose Skip for now.

What you should see

Once the connection is verified the store appears under Connected shops as Connected. Crossell starts the first reads by itself and then refreshes them at regular intervals. On Today you may see "Channel connected; data is syncing."

  • On the Marketplace sync page (from Settings) each read is its own row: Catalog products, Orders, Customer messages, Returns and Settlements, as far as the account supports them. The states are Queued, Running, Completed, Partial and Failed; Partial means some records need review.
  • Products appear under Products, in Store products; orders under Orders; customer questions under Messages. Finance data fills in once the marketplace statement has been read; until then it says "The marketplace statement has not been read yet".
  • Missing data is never shown as zero. Profit needs product costs; enter them on the Cost entry page.

Troubleshooting

  • If the verification email does not arrive, check your spam folder, then resend it.
  • If the connection is refused, the error message names the reason; copy the details again from the marketplace panel.
  • If a read is Failed or Partial, see Troubleshooting.
  • If pages keep sending you to the plan choice although a store is connected, your plan is not active yet: Plans and billing.
