How do you check payouts, payments and invoices?

In Finance you read your marketplace statement, your payout days and issued invoices, find differences and export them to a file.

← All guides

Before you start

  • Finance pages read the marketplace account statement. Without a connected store whose statement is supported, the page shows "No connected store with account statement support" and a Connect a store button.
  • Amounts are taken verbatim from the marketplace statement; they are not a final profit calculation. While history is still loading, older months appear marked Partial and are never shown as complete.
  • On Starter the Account statement and Invoices are fully open. On the payout check pages Starter sees only a summary card; the detail is on Growth and above. Export is also Growth and above.

Steps

Account statement and Invoices

  1. Open Account statement under Finance in the menu.
  2. On the month cards read Debit, Credit, Earnings and the current balance. Use Show transactions to go down to the lines.
  3. Narrow the lines with the Source, Order no. and Sort filters.
  4. On Invoices, use Invoice type and Invoice no. to find cargo, commission and service-fee invoices.
  5. If the Invoices page has an "Issued e-invoices" link, the invoices Crossell issued through your e-Faturam account are listed there separately.

Payout check (Growth and above)

  1. Open Payout check. The Payout Audit page shows overdue unpaid earnings, Priority checks and Payout days.
  2. On the Payment audits tab compare each payment order's calculated amount with the payment made. The With difference filter brings up the problem orders.
  3. On the Payout cycles tab upload a CSV bank statement; the payouts that reached your bank are matched. Only date, amount, currency and reference are read from the file.
  4. On the Invoice audit tab use Cargo invoice audit and Commission invoice audit to review repeated shipments and commission differences.

Exporting

  1. On the page, use the Export button. The Account statement also offers the Accounting journal; its account codes come from Settings > Accounting.
  2. To see which export is created on which page, open Exports.

What you should see

  • Estimated earnings and deductions are estimates; they are never added to the exact statement records.
  • If the bank file does not cover the days around a payout without a gap, the payout is not judged missing; it shows "Not covered by the bank file".
  • Missing data is never shown as zero; the page states the reason.

Troubleshooting

  • If you see "No marketplace finance access", check that your API key has finance (account statement) permission and use Open connections to refresh the connection.
  • If data looks old, see the Troubleshooting guide.
  • If you see a plan lock, see Billing and plans.
