How do you change prices with the approval flow?

You calculate a product's price from cost and commission, send the change for approval, and after you approve it, it goes to the marketplace; you also find the best options in Trendyol's weekly tariff files.

Before you start

  • Pricing is in the Pricing menu. The price simulator and cost entry are on lower plans too; sending a price change for approval and sending it to the marketplace are on the Scale plan and above.
  • A price is only sent if the product's unit cost is saved. First enter the cost as in the Products and stock guide.
  • It depends on your plan:
  • Scale: approved price changes, Product price analysis, Tariff strategy, Margin rules, Price robot, Competition (Buybox).
  • Growth: you see only a summary card for Tariff strategy, Bulk pricing and Buybox.
  • Pro: margin-rule and robot prices sent without waiting for your approval, within the limits you set.

Steps

Change a product's price and approve it

  1. On Store products open the Calculation section from the product's row.
  2. Fill Purchase price (VAT incl.) and Sale price. The commission rate comes from the marketplace or your schedule; enter it by hand if it does not.
  3. Check Estimated profit and Margin in the profit preview.
  4. Press Update Trendyol price. The price does not go at once; a request is created and you are asked to approve it within 5 minutes.
  5. Press Approve and send to Trendyol. The price is queued for sending.

To change prices on several channels together use Prices by channel in the product's Prices tab: Change price changes one row, Apply to selected changes the selected listings by a new price or a percentage. Each listing gets its own approval and you see each listing's result before anything is sent. If it went wrong, Back to previous price creates a new approval.

Safety rules

  • A price below your current cost is not sent.
  • A change above the threshold (30% by default) waits as held: large change; check it and continue with Confirm and send this price.
  • If the listing's price or currency changed after the approval, the price is not sent; create a new request.

Follow your approvals

Approvals & history lists the changes you approved and whether they were sent. If a send has an unknown result, the business owner can open the Uncertain sends tab.

Find gains in Trendyol tariff files

  1. Open Tariff strategy.
  2. In the Trendyol seller panel, download the Commission Tariffs, Plus Commission Tariffs and Starred Product Labels files from the Offers menu and add them with Choose tariff files. Add new files every week.
  3. Look at the Measured gain per week card and each product's recommendation (Move, Consider, Losing, Keep).
  4. Select products, take the files from Download filled tariff files and upload them in the Trendyol panel. Crossell does not send the tariff file to Trendyol itself.

What you should see

  • A listing with a waiting approval shows A price change is waiting under Prices by channel.
  • A sent change appears in Approvals & history as Sent.

Troubleshooting

  • Set a valid purchase price! means: save the cost first.
  • The approval expired: create a new price request.
