AI policy

Last updated: October 30, 2026 · Version 2026-10-30

The Turkish text is the primary text; the English text is informational.

1. When AI runs

AI features (draft replies to buyer questions, translation, product text, category matching, image editing) run only when you press a button or switch an AI setting on. Crossell never sends AI output to a buyer without your approval and never changes a product page by itself.

2. Where the text or image goes

The relevant text or image goes through our AI gateway OpenRouter to the model provider (Google Gemini models; OpenAI as a fallback for one task). The providers are in the United States. The current provider list is on the /subprocessors.

3. Buyer information

In buyer messages, names, e-mail addresses, phone numbers, ID numbers and order numbers are masked before they reach a model. This is pseudonymisation, not anonymisation. For buyer data the seller is the controller; Crossell does not use it to train AI models.

4. Output is a suggestion

AI output can be wrong or incomplete. Checking it before you publish it or send it to a buyer is your responsibility. Usage records (task type, model, token count, cost) are kept; the prompt text is not stored in those records.

5. Your rights and contact

For the controller, your rights and how to apply, see the Privacy Notice (/kvkk). Questions: [email protected].
